A unique balance is maintained by fully allowing both the word and the wordless. If either is given undue weight, the world becomes skewed and dualistic. Once isolated from one another, each operates from a different set of principles. Now the sense-of-self formed by the word must work hard to discover the wordless. These contrasting views can never be reconciled, and the sense-of-self vainly tries to discover the wordless through its words. The understanding of how to regain the natural equilibrium between these two dimensions is the spiritual journey, and it requires surrendering an exclusive perspective from either vantage point.
