A preschool, Stretch the Imagination, wanted to update their site’s design and backend functionality. My piece was working closely with them and developing a process of accepting applications to the preschool and summer camps. The applications automatically created connected guardian and student records in the database from information contained in the form. Once the classes or camps were confirmed in admin by the school’s staff the students were automatically enrolled. Additionally, I set up class and camp creation in admin that tracked the class/camp occupancy numbers, teachers, enrolled and paid students, and other information. I also created enrollment, applicant, and sibling reports for view in admin, printing, or exporting to CSV.
