Grayson discovered two new things yesterday.  Rainbows!    2. A combination of two of his favorite things, balls and puddles; kicking a ball through a puddle!

Grayson: What’s this?

Me: It’s a Zevia.

Grayson: What’s this?

Me (enunciating): It’s a ZEVIA.

Grayson: What’s this?

Me (hesitating to go down this rabbit hole): It’s a ginger ale.

Grayson: What’s this?

Me: It’s a green can.

Grayson: What’s this?

Me: It’s an aluminum can.

Grayson: What’s this?

Me: It’s a Zevia brand ginger ale packaged in a green aluminum can.

Grayson: What’s this?

Me: I don’t know buddy, I’m tapped.

Grayson: It’s a soda. It’s a soda daddy.

Me: … Okay smarty pants.

Overcoming shock

It’s the time of year, at least in Bend Oregon, where every time I get out of the car I slam my hand against the metal car door in an attempt to override the surprise of the righteous shock I ALWAYS GET.
